Due to circumstances, our wedding has been postponed!

We met at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale’s young adult ministry, Eikon. I (Alyssa), first spied Kenny way back in October of 2018. I took one look at him & felt literally felt my heart skip a beat. Every time I went to Eikon after that day, I found myself always searching for that man who I had never spoken to. Kenny first spied Alyssa (me) in December of 2018. Unfortunately, he thought I had a boyfriend and never made a move. Finally, God had enough of our tip toe-ing. One day, there was a call for prayer after service and Kenny happened to be standing in the front. After I confessed to my older brother Kyle that I had a crush at Eikon, he took the opportunity to walk over and ask for prayer. I awkwardly followed behind, finally talking to the man I had been crushing on for weeks. One conversation was all it took. Every week after, we continued talking to each other after service. One week we exchanged Facebook profiles, the next Instagram. I (Alyssa) had waited long enough for Kenny to make his next step. A few weeks after our initial conversation, I messaged him on Instagram and the rest was history. We exchanged numbers and couldn’t stop talking for days. Finally, we went for coffee, and after that coffee we knew that this would be a forever kind of thing.
