Once upon a time…

On March 21, 2026 — just days before my birthday — Kalib’s plan fell into motion, feeling straight out of a fairytale. He surprised me by whisking me away to a secret destination: the charming town of Frankenmuth, MI, with its old-world charm, cozy streets, and rows of whimsical little shops. After checking into our hotel for the weekend, he took me on a horse-drawn carriage ride. As we rolled through the storybook streets, he spoke the most beautiful words, filling my heart with warmth and anticipation. When the ride ended, I was met with the sweetest surprise — my best friend, camera in hand. They told me they wanted to take some birthday pictures for me, so we headed down to the river. That’s when Kalib got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Surrounded by love and the magic of the moment, I said yes to forever. 💍 The rest of the weekend was just as perfect — strolling through the little shops, sharing pieces of fudge and laffy taffy, and soaking in every moment of our beautiful new beginning together.
