Things To Do
Leavenworth
Downtown Leavonworth is Bavarian Village and is fun to explore! Induldge in the German culture (Great for the Peters folks ;) ) with ciders/beers, pretzels, bratwursts/ sausages. You can take a Bavarian photoshoot, explore the nutcracker museum( free for military), take on the alpine coaster at the adventure park, or shop around local shops. This is about 30 minutes from the venue.
Seattle
Seattle is about 2.5 hours away, but if you're willing to make the drive there are a lot of great opportunities. A crowd favorite is pike market. Super fun to walk around and explore new foods and shops. Other things I recommend is the space needle, a whale watching tour, taking a ferry to an island, Kerry park, take a walk through sculpture park down to the water, the first Starbucks/ Starbucks reserves, taking a food tour, the aquarium, museums, or renting a hot tub boat. National Parks
Mt Rainier national park is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend the skyline loop trail. For a less mobile option try the sky gondolas to enjoy the views. This will be closer to Seattle. By the coast there is Olympic National Park. For a moderate paved shorter hike, Hurricane Hill is breathtaking. Another great paved trail is Devil’s punch bowl via Spruce railroad. This will be on Crescent Lake and is great for swimming. You can also kayak to this destination. North Cascades National Park is north a very underrated beauty. Although Okanogan-Wenatchee National forest is not technically a national park, it is beautiful and closer to the venue.
Hiking!
The hiking views are amazing and I HIGHLY recommend you do at least one while you are here. The wildflowers are gorgeous this time of year.

River Tubing or Whitewater rafting!
Choose between a relaxing float or an exciting trip down the Wenatchee river.
Chelan
Chelan Valley Farms is a utopia. Fresh flower and berry picking in the summer surrounded by beautiful mountains. A fun family activity and adults can enjoy a wine tasting as well! The Chelan area is well known for its lake and is great for water activities. There is also plenty of golfing around. This is around an hour from the venue.
Visit Canada
Bring a passport and travel to Canada! The border is only a two hour drive from the Seattle- Tacoma airport. Seattle also offers a ferry to Victoria.
