Once upon a time, Alyssa was scanning Craigslist for an apartment. Little did she know was that on that very day she was going to meet the love of her life. After calling into an ad, a man picked up the phone. His name was Joe. After quickly getting to now each other Alyssa realized she was taken back with how pleasantly easy Joe was to talk to. He made her feel really special and taken care which wasn’t something you felt like when meeting someone for the first time. Later that day, Alyssa and Joe meet in person. Both of them being from an Italian background hit it off like two meatballs in sauce. From there, Joe went to visit his father in Florida. What’s funny is for the next 4 weeks they continued conversations after Joe had found a place for Alyssa to live. Those next 4 weeks were FILLED with cute text messages or phone calls every single day. Their love blossomed so quickly with having so much in common. Joe decided to then return back to Rochester early from his trip because both he and Alyssa were ready and in anticipation of a first real date. Joe and Alyssa on 4th of July weekend decided to head out to one of their favorite places in Florida, Key West. This was one of the places they first traveled to after the big move from Rochester and it has held a special place in their hearts. On the evening of July 1st, Alyssa and Joe took a Champagne Sunset Cruise. With the warm breeze of the ocean around them, Joe smiled at Alyssa and then asked her to dance. As they started dancing Joe began telling Alyssa about how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and how special she is to him. In the middle of their dance he got down on one knee. To Alyssa’s surprise with the most beautiful sunset behind him, Joe held up the most beautiful engagement ring, and asked her to marry him. Alyssa completely blown away jumped for joy, I mean literally levitated off the boat, and said YES to the easiest question in her life. It was a magical moment and a dream come true.
