Joe got up during youth takeover , brought up balloons and proposed to me during Sunday service!!

Joe was the first person I saw pulling up to Redemption House Life Center in June 2023. It was just the kids and I , I had just got out of a bad relationship where I was called names and being controlled. Joe was the parking lot attendant and as he guided us into a spot, he was so kind, nice, vibrant, and full of joy. He immediately got my attention. We remained close friends but would eventually get closer and closer. We would share stories of ministry. We would do ministry together. I would share my lunch with him between services. He would speak life into me , and encourage me that better is coming. We didn’t know he meant himself LOL. Two years later we are engaged and soon to be husband and wife. I was hidden in plain sight the whole time because as friends we never knew what God had in store.
