Our Story
In 2020, we both moved back home - John from LA to Philly, Alyssa from Brooklyn to Montclair. In early 2021, with the world starting to get back to normal, we gave dating apps another shot. Alyssa swiped right on John, unaware he was nowhere near Montclair - glitch or fate? A “quick” video call to confirm neither of us was a weirdo turned into four hours and a first date on the calendar. We spent months trading weekends between Philly and Montclair; distance never stood a chance. Nearly five years later, we are still laughing about whatever weird Hinge algorithm pulled that off and excited for what’s next.
