Alyssa & Jevon are tying the knot

We first crossed paths in middle school—our names were familiar to one another, but we weren’t really friends. It wasn’t until high school that Jevon and I truly grew close. He was always just a phone call away, and no matter what, when I needed him, he was there for me, and I for him. At the time, we never saw each other as anything more than close friends. When graduation came around, something shifted for me (Alyssa). I realized that Jevon, with his shy nature, probably wouldn’t make the first move, so I decided to take a chance and make it happen. And that’s exactly what I did. Little did we know, that moment would set the stage for the beautiful journey we’re on today. Now, nearly 7 ½ years later, here we are, about to say "I do." We’ve built something so special together, and as we look to the future, there’s no one else we’d rather face life’s highs and lows with than each other.
