We're getting married!

We met on Tinder and from our very first date at Little Pub in Stratford, something just clicked. We laughed easily, connected over our love for animals and margs, and left that afternoon knowing this could be something special. As we spent more time together, we realized how naturally our lives fit. We both work in helping professions—Jess is a nurse and Alyssa is a social worker—and we’ve become each other’s biggest supporters through every challenge and triumph. Our shared love for fall brought us even closer: haunted houses, pumpkin patches, corn mazes, cozy nights in… it’s our favorite season, so of course we are choosing to get married in October. We’ve built a life full of joy, silliness, and support. Our proposal story is perfectly us. Jess proposed first in a flower garden, and when she realized there were no roses, she secretly brought her own—so that Alyssa’s favorite flower would be part of the moment. What Jess didn’t know was that Alyssa, with the help of family and friends, arranged a second proposal later that day at her parents’ house. In January 2025, we bought our first house together in Trumbull, Connecticut—a cozy space filled with love, laughter, and our growing little farm. Our days are shared with our cat Luna, our bunny Remi, and our five chickens: Parm, Sesame, Piccata, Mother Clucker, and Marsala. Between Lego builds (Jess), painting projects (Alyssa), and all the small, meaningful moments of everyday life, this house has quickly become our home. We’re each other’s safe place, biggest cheerleaders, and best friends. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter—and we’re so grateful to have all of you with us as we say “I do.”
