We're Getting Married!

Alyssa and Jesse officially met in the summer of 2016, while on a vacation to the Bahama's with mutual family friends. One night, the two chatted for hours on a hammock overlooking the marina, and it didn't take long for them to click. Alyssa and Jesse reconnected shortly after returning from their trip and began chatting which led to their first few dates together back home. Shortly after, it was clear the two were meant for each other as their personalities, interests, and passions in life had aligned so well. Jesse and Alyssa both attended UW-Superior and over the next few years started living together with their adopted dog Lena and supported each other in their journey to graduation in 2018 and 2019. Nine years and many flights, road trips, dates, and amazing experiences later, the two love each others company while going on hikes, finding new places to travel, and planning and experiencing each moment of their lives together. Jesse proposed while on a hiking trip in the Highlands of Scotland at the Old Mann of Storr in April of 2024. He skillfully captured the special moment on an iPhone timer photo.
