After 11 years of dating, Alyssa & Jay are finally tying the knot! On February 17, 2013, after seeing the movie "South Haven", Jay asked Alyssa to officially start dating. Three years earlier, they had made a promise to date once Alyssa was in high school. From the moment on, they had been a part of each others lives. They attended four homecomings and four proms together. Jay was Alyssa's dancing partner throughout all of high school. Together they attended four Homecoming dances and Proms. He also shared the stage with her during two of her dance team performances. Jay graduated high school and attended University of Illinois where Alyssa would visit. They continued to be each other's dancing partner at all the college bars and parties. After both finishing school and starting their careers, Jay and Alyssa bought their first home in 2021 and renovated it to their perfection. Alyssa and Jay have been blessed to travel the world together and plan to continue that throughout their marriage. In their 11 years, they have visited Mexico, Thailand, Greece, Italy, Iceland, France, and many more. On November 18, 2022 while on a trip to Venice, Italy, Jay popped the question and they were finally engaged! Having crossed off many countries, they are looking forward to exploring more on their honeymoon. They are so excited to celebrate this monumental milestone in their relationship with all the people that mean the most to them. Many of whom, have been apart of the entirety of their 11 year endeavors.
