We are getting married!

We first saw each other across the quad in high school. It felt as if we were in our own movie scene. I was hanging out with my friends in the senior circle and had a feeling someone was staring at me. I turned around and saw Izaak's gaze looking directly at me. He was shy and trying to be discreet. My initial thought was, "Who is that guy, and is he staring at me?" I laughed, and then I noticed how handsome he was. I knew that I needed to find out his name. To get Izaak to notice me, I went through his friends. I let them know I noticed him and was interested. One Friday night football game, I attempted to make myself noticeable to him by getting his attention while I was cheering in the ASB crowd. I was at the bottom of the bleachers, and he was at the top of the bleachers. When he noticed me, he would smile because he knew what I was attempting to do. It took some time for him to reach out to me for the first time. The moment he did, I never looked back. For me, it was love at first sight. When we started talking, I thought he was an amazing listener. Turns out he was just really shy. Once he got comfortable. I could not get him to stop talking. Especially about Star Wars. The day I knew I won his heart was the day I told him I was watching Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Now I really can't get him to stop talking. Over the last 10 years, Izaak and I have laughed, loved, and thanked each other every day for being each other's favorite person. Our relationship truly feels like those once-in-a-lifetime love stories. He is my peace, and I am his chaos. It is an adventurous, balanced and goofy type of love. Which just so happens to be our favorite kind. Thank you for reading our story!
