We're getting married!

Office love stories can seem like something out of a daydream, but ours became a reality in a way I never expected. Ian and I started as colleagues, and our paths barely crossed at work. I was just a quiet presence, coming to work, eating lunch alone, and heading home right after. Our first real interaction happened when the operations team, led by Ian as the Operations Manager, needed assistance reaching out to customers. As the Team Leader of Customer Service, I was tasked with collaborating closely with him. At first, I mistook Ian for a high-ranking VP or even the owner of the company, based solely on his profile picture. Little did I know, he was just an ordinary cute little man who was actually a modest, hardworking man with big dreams and significant responsibilities. Over time, we connected on Facebook and exchanged casual messages about our dog (Rocky the English Bulldog). Our conversations were brief, but they laid the foundation for something more meaningful. As we started talking more at work, our discussions expanded from work-related topics to more personal matters. Ian grew close to my family and even my mom, who also worked at the company, and I remember August 25, 2021, vividly. That day, Ian took a brave step and shared his feelings with me: “Okay, I want you to know that I’ve been praying to the Lord about this. I’m in love with you, but I want to do this the right way. After being joyfully single, I felt a spark in my heart and thought, "Could this be the one my soul has been waiting for?". We started going on dates, each one drawing us closer together. By October 17, 2021, the connection we had been building blossomed into a beautiful relationship, and we officially became a couple. What began as a simple work connection transformed into something sacred. Once colleagues, we are now partners in life and in faith—a couple for Christ. We serve Him together through music ministry, always striving to bring out the best in each other, with God firmly at the center of it all. Fast forward to today: what was once our ANNIVERSARY has now become our WEDDING ANNIVERSARY . Our journey hasn’t been without its challenges, but with every trial, our love has grown stronger. Through highs and lows, we’ve leaned on each other and anchored ourselves in God’s faithfulness. We are endlessly grateful for every twist, every divine detour, and every answered prayer that brought us to this moment. With hearts full of love and faith, we look forward to the journey ahead—knowing that, together and with God, we can face anything.
