What’s the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal or cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie. Keep in mind the ceremony will be outdoors, so ladies please leave your stilettos at home.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

September in Agassiz should be warm, but not too hot; highs of 21° and lows of 11°. Bring sun glasses to the ceremony and a light shawl for the evening.

What time and where is the ceremony taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4 p.m. We kindly ask guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to grab drinks and start mingling. The ceremony will be held outdoors, on a field, so please leave your stilettos at home.

How do I get to the venue and is there any parking?

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Drinks and appetizers will be served, while group photos will be taken. A card will be handed to you before the ceremony with your photo group on it.

What can I gift to the Bride and Groom?

Answer

Our life together has already begun, We have almost everything under the sun. If you should wish to buy us a gift, A little extra money would give us a lift. But most importantly, we request, You share our day as our wedding guest. Now that we've saved you any fuss, We can't wait for you to celebrate with us! There will be a card box on the reception table to collect all cards and gifts.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

There will be plenty of food and drinks during the reception. It will be buffet style. There will be an open bar except during dinner where we will be serving beer and wine.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Will transportation be provided between to/from the venue?

Answer

No, but there are local taxis available that can easily be called if you need transportation to Agassiz.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We kindly ask you to refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony, as we want you to be fully present. Our photographer will take ample photos during the ceremony. As for the reception, by all means take as many pictures as you want! Please use the #turneritupforlove for social media.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitations says 'and Guest' then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
