He is steady, loyal, and family-oriented, and those closest to him know how much he values his relationships and the time he gets to spend with the people he loves. Garett is excited for this next chapter and greatful to be celebrating it surrounded by the people that matter the most to him.
Jon Lang
Officiant
Jon is Alyssa's brother, and we couldn't imagine anyone more meaningful to officiate our wedding. As many of you know, Alyssa lost her dad at a young age. Over the years, Jon has become so much more than a brother. He's been a constant source of guidance and support, and someone she looks up to as a second parental figure alongside her mother. He's been there through life's up and downs, always ready with support, advice, or just show up when it matters. Having him as our officiant feels incredibly special. Almost like his own way of giving her away. Jon brings a unique personality to everything he does, he has a slightly odd (but funny) sense of humor, a secretly huge heart, and genuinely loves our relationship... especially Garett (lol). We know he's going to make this moment unforgettable for us.
Linda Lang
Matron of Honor
Linda is Alyssa's sister-in-law and longtime best friend. They've know each other since Alyssa was just 7 years old. One of her earliest memories of thinking "wow, Linda is cool" was when Linda talked her mom into letting her shave her legs at a young age. Choosing just one honor wasn't easy. If you keep reading you will notice Alyssa has chosen 3 honors to stand by her side, because each of them has played such an important role in her life. Linda is Alyssa's rock. She's the one who has been there to lift her back up when life felt overwhelming. Whether she needs someone to vent to, lean on, or just someone to spend time with, Linda is always that person. She is incredibly supportive, loving, and kind, with a truly beautiful soul. While they were always close growing up, their bond has become even stronger over the past five years since moving back to Arizona. Having Linda stand by her side on such an important day means everything.
Kahlen Wittman
Maid of Honor
Kahlen has been Alyssa's best friend since 7th grade. From middle school through high school, they were completely inseparable. Spending countless nights together, from sleepovers on school nights to weekends at her cabin. They grew up side by side, sharing everything from getting into trouble, going to parties or throwing parties, sneaking out, and even drinking their parents alcohol, to confiding in each other through every stage of life. Kahlen has truly seen it all, every high and every low, and has been there through it all. Their friendship is one that has stood the test of time. Alyssa sees Kahlen as more than a best friend, she's family, like a sister. She has always been someone Alyssa can count on for love, support, and unwavering loyalty. They've created so many unforgettable memories together, and now getting to watch their babies grow up and become friends just like they were. Which makes their bond even more special. Kahlen is an amazing friend with the biggest heart, and there is no one Alyssa would rather have standing by her side as her maid of honor.

Man of Honor
Austen is Alyssa's brother, and choosing him as her man of honor was an easy decision, it only made sense. He has been one of her very first best friends in life. Growing up together. Austen was always a wonderful and caring brother. From a young age, he loved and adored Alyssa and made sure she never felt left out. Even with a 5 year age gap, that never mattered to him. Whether he was going to a friend's house or heading somewhere, Alyssa was always included. Like many of you, they faced their share of hardships, but through it all, they always had each other to lean on. They did just about everything together growing up, building a bond that has only grown stronger over time. Austen is very loving and supportive, and always spoke highly of his sister. Their relationship is filled with amazing memories and an unbreakable connection. Of course, like siblings, they've had their moments of getting on each others nerves, but no matter what they always work through it and come back stronger. Having Austen stand by her side on such an important day means more than words can express. It's something very special and close to her heart.
Tyler Stevens
Best Man
Tyler isn't just Garett's best friend-he's family. Their story began before either of them were born, when their mothers were neighbors while pregnant, and they entered the world just one month apart from each other. From day one, they have shared a bond that has lasted through every stage of life. No matter how many times Garett moved or how many miles separated them, their friendship never changed. They always picked up right where they left off, as if no time had passed at all. Over the last 30 years, Tyler has been there for some of Garett's greatest memories, biggest adventures, most important milestones. More importantly, he has been there through the difficult times as well, offering the kind of loyalty, support, and friendship that never wavers. Their friendship is built on a lifetime of memories, trust, and brotherhood, making Tyler the perfect person to stand beside Garett as his best man one one of the most important days of his life.

Bridesmaid
Megan is Alyssa's Cousin, and they have shared a close bond since childhood. She has always been someone Alyssa has looked up to and deeply admired. They have made so many meaningful memories together over the years, from visiting Megan in Alaska and seeing her as the "cool older cousin" who listened to hipster music and seemed to have it all together, to celebrating her wedding in Hawaii, to spending countless days together after Megan moved to Arizona during Alyssa's teenage years. Alyssa was also there when Megan welcomed her second child and even had the special privilege of helping during his birth and cutting the umbilical cord. Although they don't get to spend as much time together now due to busy life schedules, every time they are together it feels like no time has passed. Megan is an incredible person, and Alyssa feels so lucky to have her in her life. Choosing her as a bridesmaid was an easy decision.
Kourtney Kendall
Bridesmaid
Kourtney is Garett's cousin and someone who has always held a special place in his life. Growing up together, they created countless memories at their grandparents home, spending time playing games, going down the river, helping their grandparents around the house, and even getting into some trouble at times. Through it all, they built a strong and lasting bond. When Alyssa came into Garett's life, she had the chance to meet Kourtney, and the two quickly hit it off. What started as family quickly turned into a genuine friendship. Over time Alyssa and Kourtney have built a close relationship rooted in trust, loyalty, and mutual respect. Kourtney is an incredibly hardworking, independent, and caring person. She is thoughtful, supportive, and always there for the people she loves. Both Alyssa and Garett truly value the time they spend with her and the role she plays in their life. Alyssa feels so greatful to not only have gained Kourtney as family, but also as a close friend, and is honored to have her standing by her side as a bridesmaid on such a special day.

Alexis is Alyssa's lifelong friend. They have known each other since they were just 3 years old, growing up as neighbors who lived right behind one another. Alyssa's dad even built a ladder so they could climb the fences and spent countless hours together. Alexis was Alyssa's very first best friend outside of her brother, and the two of them shared a childhood filled with memories; endless sleepovers, lake trips, Disneyland adventures, snow trips, many special moments in Washington and beyond. Even though life has taken them in different directions and they don't get to see each other as often anymore. Alexis will always feel like a sister to Alyssa. She holds a very special place in her heart, and Alyssa is incredibly grateful to have grown up alongside her. Alyssa is excited and honored to have Alexis standing by her side as a bridesmaid on her big day.

Mackenzie is Alyssa's sister-in-law ( Kyle's wife) and has been part of her life for about seven years. Although they haven't been able to spend as much time together due to living in different states, Alyssa cherishes every moment they get together. Mackenzie is another person Alyssa is truly greatful for. She is a wonderful mom, a loving wife, and such a genuine person. Every time they're together, their bond continues to grow, and their time is always filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, and a deeper connection. Mackenzie is also someone Alyssa feels she can turn to for advice, support, or just someone to talk to. She has a way of making people feel comfortable and understood, and that means so much. Alyssa feels incredibly lucky to have Mackenzie in her life and is so greatful to not only call her family, but to have her standing by her side as a bridesmaid on such a special day.

Raelyn is Alyssa's niece and someone who holds a very special place in her heart. Alyssa has had the privilege of watching her grow up since the day she was born and was one of the very first people to hold her, a moment that will always be incredibly meaningful. Over the years, Raelyn has also been able to confide in Alyssa as her older aunt, turning to her for support, guidance, and comfort during both good times and more difficult moments. That trust and connection has only strengthened their bond over time. Alyssa adores Raelyn deeply and loves her very much. She is so greatful for the relationship they share and is incredibly excited to have Raelyn standing by her side on such an important day, supporting her as a bridesmaid.

Michael’s story with Garett started through a blended family connection. At first, he was simply known as Garett’s stepdad’s nephew. But over the years, that family connection turned into something much more meaningful—a true friendship. Somewhere along the way, he stopped being “the nephew” and became one of Garett’s best friends. The two worked for the same company in different departments, which meant they didn’t see each other every day on the job, but they made up for it after work and at countless family gatherings. No matter the occasion, whenever they got together it was guaranteed to be a good time. Michael has always been one of the funniest people in the room, and there are countless memories filled with laughter because of him. Their friendship eventually reached a new level when they became roommates. While living together may have been a little too much fun at times, they somehow managed to make it through with plenty of great stories and memories. Over the years, Michael has proven himself to be the kind of friend everyone hopes to have. There isn’t much Garett wouldn’t do for him, and he knows the feeling is mutual. Garett is grateful that their friendship has remained strong throughout the years. Having Michael stand by his side today as a groomsman is an honor, and he wouldn’t have wanted to celebrate this day without one of his closest friends beside him.

Dylan and Garett's friendship began in the 7th grade, and from that point on they were practically inseparable throughout their school years. Dylan spent so much time at Garett's house that he became part of the family, sharing countless memories, laughs, and great experiences along the way. After high school, life took them in different directions-Dylan attended the University of Arizona while Garett entered the workforce-and, like many friendships, busy schedules made it harder to spend time together. Even so, their friendship never faded. Several years later, they found their way back to spending more time together, and it quickly felt like no time had passed at all. Whether they are doing something exciting, going to gym, or simply hanging out, they always seem to have a great time together. Sharing the same sense of humor has led to years of inside jokes, nonstop laughter, and unforgettable memories. Dylan is one of the most genuine and funniest people Garett knows, and his friendship and ability to make any situation more enjoyable are just a few of the reasons he is proud to have him as a groomsman by his side on his wedding day.

When Garett started dating Alyssa, one of the people he was lucky enough to get to know was her nephew. He was 14 years old when they first met and turned 18 just a few weeks after Garett and Alyssa celebrated their four-year anniversary. While he may be a little on the quiet side, the two have always gotten along well, and Garett has come to appreciate what a genuinely kind and respectful young man he is. Over the years, watching him grow into adulthood has been a privilege. What has always stood out most is his character. He has never treated Garett like an outsider or just someone dating his aunt. Instead, he welcomed him into the family and built a real relationship with him along the way. Having him stand as a groomsman is especially meaningful to Garett because of the friendship they have developed over the years. His kindness, and willingness to always be respectful have meant more than he probably realizes, and Garett is proud to have him standing by his side on such an important day.

Kyle is Alyssa's brother and also a friend of Garett's. He has been an important part of Alyssa's life and someone she is deeply greatful for, not only because of their family bond, but because of the support and love he brings into her life. Kyle and Garett first met a few years back and connected quickly. What started as friendship soon turned into a bond built on laughter, shared humor, and good memories. Their relationship has grown into one of mutual respect and genuine friendship. Kyle is a kind, easygoing person with a big heart. He is supportive of Alyssa and Garett's relationship and has always shown love and acceptance for them as a couple, which means a lot to both of them. Alyssa and Garett are both greatful to have Kyle standing next to them as Garett's groomsman on the big day.
David Martinez

David and Garett may not have known each other as long as some of his other friends, but it didn't take long to realize that David is the kind of person you want in your corner. They first worked together when David was just getting started in the manual labor field, and while he'd probably say he taught David everything he knows, David eventually figured a few things out on his own. From the start, they got along well, and over the last few years he has come to realize just how great of a friend David is. David is family-oriented, dependable, and someone Garett knows he can always count on. Even though their friendship is newer, David has been a friend who will always have his back, which is exactly why Garett has chosen him to stand beside him on this special day.
Forrest Jaksch
Ring Bearer
Forrest is Alyssa and Garett's loving son and one of their greatest joys in life. He is the sweetest little boy who adores his mama and dada more than anything. They are beyond excited to share this special day with him and can't wait to see him walk down the aisle carrying their rings and witnessing his parents get married. Having him be part of such an important moment makes the day even more meaningful.
Candy Lennon
Flower Girl
Candy is Alyssa's grandma, and they have shared a deep and special bond ever since she was a little girl. She is an incredible woman with so much love to give and has always been a strong, steady presence in the family. Candy is truly the rock that has helps hold Alyssa's mom's side of the family together, always putting her family first and never hesitating to be there where she's needed. Some of Alyssa's favorite memories with her include school dress shopping, picking out Halloween costumes, all the summer trips to Washington, going boating and jet skiing, and taking a nice evening walk to the ice cream shop. Some of her most cherished memories is simply the time they spent together playing games and making memories. Alyssa didn't want her wedding to be completely traditional, and with the love she has for her grandma, it felt right to give her such a meaningful role. Having Candy as the flower girl is something so special, and a beautiful way to honor the love they share.
Carla Lang
Mother of the Bride
Carla is Alyssa's mom, and as many of you may know or read in Jon's story, Alyssa lost her dad at a young age. From that moment on, Carla stepped into both roles and raised Alyssa and her brother as a single parent. Carla has been an incredible mother who has always put her children first, no matter what. She has taught Alyssa countless life lessons that she will carry with her forever. Through every chapter of her life, Carla has been there, to laugh with her, guide her, support her, offer a shoulder to cry on, and give advice (even when it wasn't always what Alyssa wanted to hear). From the moment Garett came into Alyssa's life, Carla welcomed and loved him as her own. She admired his ambition, his strong work ethic, and his kind, funny, and loving personality. She knew he would take great care of her daughter. Carla has played such a huge role in shaping Alyssa into the woman she is today. Because of that, it only felt right for Alyssa to have her mom by her side, giving her away on such an important day.
Toby Larkin
Father of the Bride/Stepdad Figure
Toby is Alyssa's mom's fiancé. He has been a part of Alyssa's life for over 15 years and has been a steady and meaningful presence in her family throughout that time. He has been there through many seasons of life, always showing support and commitment to the people he cares about. Toby is a genuinely kind and dependable man who has always shown love and care for Alyssa and her family. His consistency and loyalty over the years have meant so much. He will be walking alongside Alyssa's mom down the aisle and helping give Alyssa away on her wedding day, which is something Alyssa is very greatful for. Having him be part of such an important moment is a reflection of the role he has played in her life and family's for so many years.
Ken Jaksch
Father of the Groom
Ken has always been an important part of Garett’s life. Growing up, he worked hard to provide for his family, but no matter how busy life got, he was always there when he was needed. As the years have gone by, their relationship has remained strong. While adulthood brings its own responsibilities and keeps everyone busy, they still make time for each other and are always willing to lend a hand to each other when needed. Ken is the kind of person who would go out of his way to help anyone who needs it. His generosity, dependability, and willingness to put others first are qualities that have left a lasting impression on those around him. According to Alyssa, Garett and Ken are remarkably alike, sharing the same sense of humor and many of the same mannerisms, something that becomes more obvious every year. Alyssa jokingly refers to Garett as "Ken Jr." whenever an occasional dad joke slips out around the house. Garett is grateful for the example his father has set and for the relationship they continue to share. Ken’s support, guidance, and friendship have meant a great deal throughout his life, and he is honored to have him here celebrating this special day.

Lynn has been one of the most important people in Garett’s life from the very beginning. Their bond has always been incredibly strong, and she has been a constant source of love, encouragement, and support through every stage of his life. As the years have gone on, their relationship has evolved into one where they continue to support one another, sharing a close connection built on trust, respect, and unconditional love. Anyone who knows Lynn knows she would do absolutely anything for the people she cares about. Her kindness, generosity, and selflessness are just a few of the qualities that make her so special. Lynn loves spending time with her family and remains a regular part of Garett’s life, with the two talking and seeing each other often. She absolutely adores Alyssa and couldn’t be happier to see the two of them begin this next chapter together. She is thrilled to celebrate their marriage and looks forward to watching them build a lifetime of happiness together.
