We met when we were sixteen at the National Youth Gathering put on by the LCMS Church. Our church, Family of Christ, was going to this event. We had known of each other for many years, but this was the first time we really got to know each other. We remember the initial meeting differently, but it basically comes down to Ethan coughing and Alyssa offering cough drops- A simple connection. Whether it happened on the light rail or in US Bank Stadium, we may never know. Over the next year, through the pandemic, we became closer and closer until Ethan asked Alyssa out on June 15th of 2020. From then on, it has been years of love, laughter, compassion, empathy, and growth. This year, just after our six-year anniversary, we welcome you to join us as we celebrate our love through our marriage, joining together as one in the name of God, our heavenly Father.
