Our story began back in 2018, in the most unexpected of places—high school math class. While most students were busy counting down the minutes until the bell rang, we found something extraordinary in between equations and homework: each other. What started as shy smiles and shared calculators soon turned into late-night conversations, endless laughter, and a connection that neither of us could ignore. We’ve grown up together in so many ways since then—through late study nights, college and trade school, new jobs, and the beautiful, everyday chaos of building a life side by side. Alyssa attended WSU while Ely pursued his passion through trade school, and through it all, we never stopped cheering each other on. We've stood by each other through challenges, celebrated every win, and leaned on one another in all the moments in between. Now, after seven and a half unforgettable years, two dogs (Ripley and Richard), and a horse (Rambler—Alyssa’s idea, of course), we’re more ready than ever to say "I do." Our little family is filled with wagging tails, happy trails, and a whole lot of love. We spend as much time as we can outdoors—whether it's hiking, shooting, or Alyssa trying to prove (yet again) that she can catch more fish than Ely. (Spoiler: she never lets him forget it when she does.) We love to tease each other, laugh until our stomachs hurt, and hold each other close when the world feels too big. Our love story isn’t just about where we met—it's about everything we’ve built together since. And we can't wait to start the next chapter as husband and wife.
