On November 18, 2023, Alyssa set out on an Alice in Wonderland themed scavenger hunt with her friends Tal and Abby in Central Park. There were stops all around the park to drink tea, put on some costumes (Queen of Hearts Crown for Alyssa and cards for Abby and Tal), solve some clues, paint some roses and more! After many stops throughout the park with their guide, Alice, to find the white rabbit, we found him at the Central Park Carousel. Then Alice let Alyssa know that there was one more task at hand... we had to find the Mad Hatter. Alyssa turns around and there is the Mad Hatter standing at the tree. Alyssa recognizes the Mad Hatter to be Elvis immediately and goes quickly to meet him there. There he was, in full Mad Hatter costume, hat and all smiling so big. With other friends who came out from hiding, and other viewers, Elvis took Alyssa's hands, shared his love of her and desire to spend his life with her, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Alyssa's first response to the question was, "of course you idiot!" There is nothing better that could sum up the love, care and silliness that Alyssa & Elvis share.
