For those of you who don't know already, we met in preschool! In our end of the year play, I was Snow White, and Eben was my prince. We then lost touch for ten years and reconnected our freshman year of high school. We really liked each other, but being that we were only fourteen, we could barely figure out how to say hi in the hallway. After graduation, we lost touch for another ten years until Eben moved back to Maine from his time in Philly and Boston, and I moved back from Seattle. All it took was a little 21st century dating app magic to reconnect us! We had our first three dates over three consecutive days and have been together ever since!

Our first morning waking up on vacation in Seattle, the sun came pouring through the windows, and Eben knew that was the day he was going to ask me to marry him. He was so excited to go out and explore the city, and my sister seemed just as excited. Little did I know, he had shown her the engagement ring thirty seconds before I walked into the room! I couldn't wait to share the place that had been my home for four years and immediately took Eben to my favorite overlook of the city - Kerry Park. When we got there, I asked my sister to take some candid photos because we barely had any (perfectly and unknowingly giving her a reason to stand back and take proposal photos). After a few minutes of pointing everything out, with Eben distractedly nodding along, I noticed Kait wasn’t standing with us. I asked what my sister was waiting for. Eben answered, "For me to propose." I looked at him, shocked, and said, "No, she's not." He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. To which I whispered, "yes, of course!" We are so excited you'll be joining us to celebrate our wedding! July 2021 can't come soon enough!
