What is there to do near SLC?

Answer

We recommend anything outdoors! Our favorite hikes are up Big and Little Cottonwood canyons and in the Park City area. Hikes the couple recommends: - Clayton’s Peak (Guardsman’s pass area) - Lake Blanche (Big Cottonwood canyon) - Red Pine Lake (Little Cottonwood canyon) - Albion Basin Meadow (Little Cottonwood canyon) - Pipeline trail (Millcreek Canyon) There’s also excellent mountain biking in the Park City area, about a 30-minute drive from Salt Lake City. Donovan recommends starting at Park City Mountain Resort and riding up Armstrong Trail, which connects to many other great trails. You can also check out the Great Salt Lake, just west of the city. We recommend heading out at sunset! Just a heads up the salt flats area is very salty so be prepared to get salt on your shoes!
