Date & time changed to 12/4/20 at 5 pm!

Many don't know that Derek and Alyssa actually met in elementary school when they were in the same first grade class. Alyssa's family moved across town when she was in the third grade and it wasn't until Alyssa and Derek's junior year of highschool that they "met" again through youth group at church. As crazy as it may sound, Alyssa thought Derek looked familiar and started their conversation off by asking him if he went to Loretto Elementary School. They started dating a few months later and the rest is history!

After dating for almost ten years, Alyssa was anxiously awaiting a proposal which Derek hinted would happen in December 2019. Alyssa was convinced that they would be traveling somewhere when Derek ultimately proposed, so it was a huge surprise that Derek got down on one knee when he took her to the construction site of their new home. The house only had foundation and framing at that point but Derek set-up string lights and candles with a table and chairs. He surprised Alyssa with their first family dinner in their future home catered by one of her favorite restaurants!
