Alyssa and De'Aundre met in August 2021. They were set up by Alyssa's best friend Brittany and De'Aundre's good friend Josh. One summer weekend, De'Aundre and Josh were playing in a golf tournament and Brittany attended to cheer the boys on. Brittany took it upon herself to mention Alyssa and after many conversations, De'Aundre's curiosity grew. Who was this girl? A short week later, Josh and Brittany decided to test the waters and have the two meet. On a Friday evening, the four of them met at the golf range. Alyssa was shy and reserved while anyone who has met De'Aundre knows he is the complete opposite. He was the exact person to get her out of her comfort zone and slowly ease her out of her shell. The evening went well enough that the group decided to continue the following day for a round of golf. The front 9 holes the girls rode together and the back 9 is when Brittany and Josh decided to switch and have Alyssa and De'Aundre ride together. After some liquid courage, things started to get easier and the two really hit it off. The day was going so well, the group then decided to grab something to eat. Shortly thereafter, the question arose - "What's next?" The group finished the night with a Sod Poodles baseball game. Sun up to sun down was not nearly enough time. In the 3 and half years since then, their time time together has been a continuation of their first date - "What's next?" Many ski trips to New Mexico and Colorado, adventures to St. Louis, New York, Mexico City, and Florida are just the beginning. So what is next? The simple answer is marriage. These two are so excited to take on their new adventure as husband and wife.
