We met during our senior year of high school while working at Disneyland. No surprise to anyone, Alyssa caught David's attention by teasing him on his first day working the cash register at Stage Door Café. Who was this fiery little girl in the Frontierland costume? And on her part, even with those terrible Disney costumes, she couldn't wait for her next shift with the cute new cashier! It took a bit of time, but he finally worked up the courage to ask her out and the rest became part of our beautiful history.

While Alyssa was in California for Christmas, David suggested a Disneyland trip with a fancy dinner at the end of the night. Alyssa couldn't understand why we would plan a Disneyland trip when we still had Christmas shopping to do... And why would we go to a nice dinner after a sweaty day in the park? So many questions! But luckily, David is convincing and with the help of her best friends was able to get her on board. After lunch at the exact restaurant where we first met as high school seniors, David got down on one knee. It took her a minute to realize what was happening (they had fast passes to use!) but of course SHE SAID YES! *** We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
