We met off of Bumble...believe it or not. The first time we started messaging, we both knew we were each other's soulmates. We had an unbelievable amount of similarities, although we do have our fair share of differences. Our inside joke is that we're the "same person". We both deleted the app after we got each other's phone numbers & the rest is history...

FUN FACT: We had a first dance song picked out months before we got engaged, because we knew we were going to get married at some point. ..... We were originally going to get engaged in Wisconsin, while visiting my mom during her military duties. Unfortunately, Dakota had gotten COVID, so he was unable to go. Fast forward to Christmas, I had gotten Dakota tickets to a Detroit Red Wings game. On our way to the hockey game, coincidentally, our first dance song came on in the car. I think it was in that exact moment, we both knew the amount of love we had for one another. Before the game started, Dakota asked a gentleman to take our picture next to a statue of a favorite hockey player of his. Little did I know, it would be a video of him getting down on one knee.
