FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside near the lake at the base of the hills of Tennessee. While we cross our fingers for beautiful weather, please take care to dress for the weather. The official dress code is considered dressy causal, with sundresses, slacks, dress pants/khakis, and collared shirts. Please refrain from wearing anything white/ivory or any variation of those shades.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin punctually at 3 o'clock in the afternoon CST. While we are excited to see everyone, we do as that no guests arrive before 2:15 CST and to be seated no later than 2:50 CST or you will sadly not be allowed to enter the ceremony space.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited with names listed on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you making sure that we celebrate our special day with those we hold dear.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love all the kids in our life! Due to limited space, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults only event with the exception of a few VIPs. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside, weather permitting. The reception will take place indoors.

Question

May I take my own photos?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones, no camera, all electronics on silent). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present while we say "I do!" We have hired professionals to capture this special time, and would hate to get those memories back full of everyone holding up phones. Let us capture you and the moment exactly how we envision it, with everyone filled with love and joy on each and every visible face.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will have a bar set up to serve beer and wine. Feel free to bring cash to tip our bartenders if you feel so inclined.
