We met in the most unconventional place—our local ER. Chase was escorting an inmate, and I was just trying to do my job. One minute disagreement (okay, a slightly heated argument with a large dose of my sass) over whether or not to remove restraints later, and somehow…. we’ve been inseparable ever since. Who knew a clash over protocol would turn into a connection neither of us saw coming?
