Carson and I both grew up in Minden, Louisiana. Although we were never friends or hung out with each other, we had several mutual friends. Summer of 2018, going into our junior year of high school, Carson helped move a trampoline from our friends, The Earnhardts, house to my softball coach, Roo Johnson’s, house. Coach Roo decided to be my wing woman and talk me up to Carson. Later that night, my mom convinced me to text Carson and ask him about meeting my softball coach. So yes, I take credit for making the first move! ;) From there, we continued to get to know each other and eventually started dating. After high school, we went to Louisiana Tech together, where we got to know each other even more. Freshman year of college is when Carson led me to Christ and deepened his own relationship with the Lord. The Lord has been faithful in every aspect of our relationship, and we cannot wait to see how He works through us in marriage!
