FAQs

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is enough! Yes, we have a small registry, or you could make a contribution to our honeymoon fund, both are on this website— thank you so much!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttles picking up/dropping off in downtown Chelan (at Campbell's Resort), the Lookout, and Wapato Point in Manson.

Question

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is parking, but there's also shuttle transportation from three convenient locations: downtown Chelan (at Campbell's Resort), the Lookout, and Wapato Point in Manson.

Question

Are there Ubers or Taxi's in Chelan?

Answer

There are a very limited number of ride options. You should not count on this type of transportation being available. Chelan is a relatively rural place.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

-Welcome Drinks = beach cocktail attire -The Wedding = formal, gentlemen wear suits or sport coats/slacks, ladies wear dresses -Lake Day/Buddy's = no shoes, no shirt, no problem!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! You can find more details on the Schedule page, but we are having welcome drinks on Thursday and a Lake Day + Buddy's on Saturday. The events on Saturday are very optional. We'd love for you to stick around and join us on Saturday, but no worries at all if you can't make it happen.

Question

Will food be served at the Welcome Drinks on Thursday?

Answer

We will be serving light bites. We encourage you to go enjoy one of the many dinner options in the Chelan area after Welcome Drinks.

Question

What is the deal with Saturday... Lake Day + Buddy's?

Answer

For anyone who wants to stick around for a relaxing Saturday (very much optional though), we love boating/swimming in Lake Chelan and will be renting a handful of pontoon boats from 1 - 4pm at Manson Bay Marina. Post boating, we'll walk 1 block to Buddy's, our favorite local bar, for hosted food/drinks, college football watching and maybe even some dancing and karaoke. If boating isn't your thing, no worries at all, you can join us at Buddy's anytime from 4 - 7pm. There will be RSVP options on the forthcoming invitations.

Question

Tell me more about Lake Day?

Answer

We’ve rented a handful of pontoon boats on Saturday from 1 – 4pm. This is an optional event, but if you do want to attend, your RSVP is essential. The boats seat between 11 – 14 people each. We're departing Manson Bay Marina at 1pm sharp. This event is BYOB. The plan is to drive out to the middle of the lake, “tie-up” and enjoy a few hours of socializing, swimming and listening to music. We might putter around the lake a little bit, but we won’t be doing any water sports- sorry, no water skiing or inner-tubing.

Question

What if I don't want to be on a boat for a full 3 hours in the hot sun?

Answer

The logistics are a bit hard to manage, so if you’re not excited to spend up to 3 hours on the water (and it’s totally understandable if you aren’t), then feel free to enjoy the numerous other activities the Chelan area has to offer and come meet us at 4pm at Buddy’s in Manson!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Only guests whose invitations specify a plus one should bring a date. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids, but this is a special adults only occasion.

Question

Are there grocery stores nearby?

Answer

Yes! There is Chelan Safeway, Chelan Red Apple Market and Manson Bay Market. Get the homemade tortilla chips at the Red Apple!
