- Most of you probably know that we met and got together in high school, over 10 years ago. More importantly, we met in Ms. Clemon's Theatre Art Appreciation class, commonly referred to as "Movie Watching Class". It took almost no time at all for us to find each other in that class, which quickly turned into finding each other after class, and....the rest is history. Through the rest of high school, we formed a bond that pushed through to college at Texas A&M, and through the tough years of long distance dating that was to come. Who knew that after early morning pep rallies, late night Fuego runs and mid day random run ins on a campus of 60,000 students would turn into a lifetime together. Ben proposed in June of 2021 in Fredericksburg! He took me out to a beautiful overlook, and afterwards I was surprised with both of our families and some of our closest friends. I said it that night and I stand by my words that it was the happiest day of my life (so far). We are both just so excited to be celebrating our love story with our family and friends. We always say that one of our favorite things about being high school sweethearts is the authentic feeling of family we truly share. We are so grateful for each other, and each of you.
