What about Covid-19?

Answer

With the recent rise of omicron infection rates, Hotel Playa Fiesta will be requiring proof of a negative PCR OR antigen test taken within 48 hours of arrival to the resort regardless of vaccination status. This test must be administered - at home test results will not be accepted. We will also have COVID testing on site Saturday 2/26 to allow for your departure back to the states on Sunday.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, for the wedding please plan to wear beach wedding semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think a midi/maxi dress, suit, formal romper, jumpsuit. For men a suit jacket isn't required but feel free to wear a sport coat or blazer. No dress code for any other events.

Do you need my flight information?

Answer

Yes, please! Once you have booked your flight please let us know your flight arrival and departure information (arrival and departure date & time) so we can share this information with the hotel for them to prepare for group arrivals/departures.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be an adults only celebration. Time for the in-laws to visit?

When do I need to book by?

Answer

We know it's a quick turnaround but we are kindly requesting that you book your stay at Hotel Playa Fiesta no later than November 8th. Please note that no payment will be collected at this time but it will help us and our venue with the numbers game.

Will I need a passport?

Answer

Yes you will! Already have one? Check that expiration date! Need to get one? We would recommend getting your passport ASAP as processing times have been impacted by COVID and can take up to 16 weeks. More info can be found here: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html.

Do I have to stay at Hotel Playa Fiesta?

Answer

No! However, we would love to have you join us as all of our activities will be taking place at the private resort.

Do I have to stay all four nights?

Answer

At Hotel Playa Fiesta, the rooms require a booking for all four nights. You are also welcome to extend and join us Monday and Tuesday (2/21-2/22).

What if I am a solo traveler?

Answer

No problem! Please let us know ASAP and we will do our best to pair you up with someone suitable so you can share a room rate!

What type of payment does Hotel Playa Fiesta accept?

Answer

Playa Fiesta accepts MasterCard and Visa. Guests sharing a room can split their bill when they checkout if they wish.

Will my cell phone work in Mexico?

Answer

Check your wireless plan before you head down to see what your plan has you set up for. The wedding hotel (and most restaurants) offer Wi-Fi.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions (ex: vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, lactose intolerant, etc.) please let us know. The venue is able to accommodate and we want to make sure we have something that you are able to eat!

Do I need an adapter for the electrical outlets?

Answer

No you don't! Mexico has the same electrical outlets as the United States and Canada.

Do I need to bring a hair dryer?

Answer

The front desk has 15 hair dryers so if guests need one daily it's best to pack one and bring it along.

Is there a gym at Playa Fiesta?

Answer

There is no gym onsite however, the hotel two doors down allows our guests to use their gym for no additional charges. All you will need to do is get a business card from our front desk and bring it with you to hotel "Costa Sur" and let them know you are staying with us for a wedding.

What if I'm not staying at Hotel Playa Fiesta? Can I still hang out with everyone!

What does the open bar include?

Answer

The open bar will be available from 8am-11pm and includes beer, wine, sparkling wine, liquor, all mixed drinks, bottled water, soda, juice, coffee & tea.
