FAQs

Due to current health and safety concerns, we are reworking our whole wedding. We are planning to do a private ceremony with family and the bridal party on our original date. And we are planning for a big wedding celebration party with all of our family and friends in August 2021, when we can party the way we want to. Thank you for your support and understanding in advance. We really can't wait to celebrate with you all soon!
Question

What time does everything start?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:30pm at the Muhlhauser Barn outside, and the reception will be there as well indoors following the ceremony.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi formal/casual. Wear something that makes you feel good and will get you out on the dance floor!

Question

What is the address?

Answer

8558 Beckett Road West Chester, OH 45069

Question

What if I have food restrictions?

Answer

If you have food restrictions/allergies we don’t know of, we ask that you tell us in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. We will have options for our gluten free and vegetarian friends and family.

Question

Are there hotels close by?

Answer

Yes! There are hotels 5-10 minutes from the venue in West Chester. Check out the travel page for more info!

Question

Will there be booze?

Answer

We will provide soda, water, and juice only. For any other preferences this a a BYOB event!

Question

Do I need a mask/any FAQ's related to Covid-19

Answer

YES! Although we are resizing to just family and the bridal party for the day of our ceremony, we do ask that you bring a mask to wear, especially when in the food line or cake line. If you do not bring one, one will be provided for you. We plan on keeping windows and doors open at the barn for increased ventilation. We will do our best to space tables apart indoors for dinner and space the chairs apart outdoors for the ceremony. However, we understand that social distancing may not be able to be maintained at all times. Please wear your mask when these situations arise. We want all of our family to be safe and have a good time. We ask that if you have a fever or any related Covid symptoms that you stay home for everyone's health and safety. Again, thank you all in advance. Nothing about this decision was made lightly.

Question

Live stream info!

Answer

We are working out details of a live stream of the ceremony for friends and family who are unable to travel/attend due to health concerns, and for the those who still want to see our big day. We want to include you all in some way! The live stream event will be added to the schedule page. Making the decision to postpone the party was honestly heartbreaking. We felt we could not safely host an event of 200+ people indoors with current health and safety concerns. But at the same time, life is short, and we did not want to wait to get married. We can't wait to party the way we want to with everyone next year! Please know this decision was made in interest of health and safety for all of our guests.

For all the days along the way
