When should I RSVP by?

Contact and book through our travel agent Brandi Johnson no later than October 31st, to avoid room availability issues.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We want you to have the best vacation possible. Children at the wedding is only reserved for family of the bride and groom at this time.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We ask you wear semi-formal beach attire to the ceremony and reception. Shoes are optional, sandals are welcome. Please no T-shirts, denim, or shorts. Ceremony and cocktail hour are on the beach, and reception will be in a garden area— plan accordingly with this in mind.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
There will be an informal cocktail hour in one of the resort bars on January 23rd, where people who have arrived to the resort can meet up with the bride and groom to catch up and celebrate arriving to paradise! This is NOT a mandatory event. Friends and family who won’t be in the Dominican Republic on January 23rd, don’t sweat not being able to make this! There will be other opportunities to see each other during the week. The bride and groom will also be hosting a catamaran cruise for guests of their wedding on January 27th. Details can be found on the Schedule section of this website.

Friday, January 26, 2024 at 3 PM At Dreams Macao Beach Right Side Beach semi-formal cocktail attire- please no shorts, denim, or T shirts. Cocktail Hour and Reception to follow.

The cocktail hour will immediately follow the reception at Dreams Macao Beach Right Side!

Where is the Reception?
Answer
The reception will start at 5 pm in the Seaside Garden Terrace. We will have a buffet dinner, more drinks, and dancing with a DJ. If you didn’t wear shoes to the beach ceremony, we recommend you consider shoes for the reception so you’re as comfortable as possible.

Where and when is the Sunshine Catamaran Cruise?

Saturday, January 27th 2pm-5:30 pm Please meet in the main lobby of Dreams Macao Beach resort at 1:40 pm. There will be a shuttle transporting us to the marina with the catamaran. Snorkel gear will be provided as well as nachos and dips. Please make sure you have eaten lunch beforehand. Wear your swimsuit, cover up, towel, and bring your own sunscreen. There is an open bar on the catamaran with beers and rum based drinks.
