Hattiebuilt
Alyssa's FAVORITE local shop :) The owner is a Hempfield native and is one of the coolest guys you'll meet (think barefoot in the shop, dogs allowed inside, and a beer fridge behind the counter). I go in every year to support his business. This is a must stop in my opinion!
Uglie Mugs Coffee House
Alyssa's favorite local coffee shop. Right next to Hattiebuilt!
Orange Blossom Bakery & Cafe
Make a stop at Orange Blossom bakery for the Outer Banks' famous apple uglies! It is recommended to get there EARLY as this is a hot spot in Buxton. It is worth the hype!
Conner's Supermarket
A smaller supermarket for your grocery needs. Not as much available as Food Lion.
Food Lion
Larger grocery store for all your needs that also sells alcohol.
Cape Hatteras Lighthouse
Unfortunately, the lighthouse is closed for climbing until 2026 according to nps.gov, but it's a beautiful spot to photograph :)
Hatteras Ferry Terminal
Take a day trip and hop on the ferry to visit Ocracoke. There are options for both a vehicle and passenger ferry. While you're there, make sure to stop at Howard's Pub!

Enjoy breakfast/brunch or fine dining with a beautiful soundfront view!
