Once details are finalized and your formal invitation mails out in May 2026, you should be able to RSVP online on this website. In the meantime, save the date for October 10, 2026 and keep checking this website for incremental updates!
The dress code is COLORFUL cocktail attire. This can look like: cocktail dresses, pantsuits/rompers, suits or sport coats with dress pants. Embrace shades of greens, rust, mulberry/burgundy, and marigold! And this should go without saying, but please DO NOT WEAR A WHITE DRESS. The weather in San Juan gets cold and breezy in the evening, so come prepared with a light jacket (and dancing shoes)!
Hotels are going to be the best accommodations, as there are limited Airbnbs in the area. Check out our “travel” page for which hotels we recommend nearby. The bride and groom will be staying at Posada de San Juan Bautista, which is walking distance from our venue. If you have any questions about the best option for you, reach out to Eric.
Yes! Your little ones are welcome to the wedding, and please include them in your RSVP. If everyone we’ve invited brings their kiddos, there will be around 8 kids. However, if you’d like to leave them with a sitter so that you can have some adult time, that’s cool too! You do you!
Together, we will be the Wigant-Avalos family! Individually, we are Mrs. Alyssa Wigant and Mx. Eric Avalos! Alyssa will not be changing her last name, but Eric will be reverting their last name to the name they had at birth.
The newlyweds will be spending 13 days adventuring across the Philippines in January 2027!
