Travel Note

Downtown Nashville

Downtown is the energetic hub of Nashville’s country music scene, with crowded honky-tonk bars lining Broadway, the area’s main street. This area is filled with historic buildings that have been reimagined into music attractions, boutique hotels, art galleries, chef-driven restaurants, and newly constructed hotels, eateries, music venues, and attractions. If you stay here, you’ll be in the center of action, approximately 30 minutes from our reception venue, and 20 minutes from the airport.

Travel Note

Midtown Nashville

Midtown is a lively neighborhood close to Music Row and downtown Nashville. This area is a mix of nightlife and residential quiet adjacent to Vanderbilt University. This neighborhood is easy to navigate, walkable, and there are plenty of places to keep busy, eat, and drink. If you stay here, you’ll be approximately 10 minutes from downtown, 30 minutes from our reception venue, and 20 minutes from the airport.

Travel Note

East Nashville

East Nashville has a quirky vibe and a buzzing food and nightlife scene. The Five Points area is known for its street art, upbeat bars and trendy fine-dining restaurants, while nearby Fatherland Street is the place to go for offbeat shops. In leafy Shelby Park, the Greenway is a paved tree-lined path winding along the Cumberland River. If you stay here, you’ll be approximately 15 minutes from downtown, 35 minutes from our reception venue, and 20 minutes from the airport.

Travel Note

West End

The West End Nashville neighborhood is a dynamic area that offers something for nearly everyone. With close proximity to Nashville’s largest universities and downtown, there’s a thriving and young community. West End is a popular nightlife and entertainment district with lots of options for food and drinks. If you stay here, you’ll be approximately 15 minutes from downtown, 35 minutes from our reception venue, and 20 minutes from the airport.

Travel Note

Donelson

Donelson is where we call home! Hugging the Cumberland River, suburban Donelson is home to the famed Grand Ole Opry and the adjacent Opryland resort and shopping malls. A few hip Southern eateries and craft beer pubs dot Lebanon Pike, and there are often events for artisanal eats and live music. If you stay here, you’ll be approximately 20 minutes from downtown, 35 minutes from our reception venue, and 10 minutes from the airport.

Travel Note

Franklin/Brentwood

Franklin and Brentwood are bordering cities with similar vibes. Quieter than Nashville but still with lots to do, these cities offer a small town Southern feel with contemporary amenities. Visitors enjoy the beautiful 15 block historic district in Franklin with elegant shops and a variety of restaurants, clothing, gifts and galleries. Brentwood is home to many celebrities, including musicians, actors/actresses, and former/current athletes. If you stay here, you’ll be approximately 35 minutes from downtown, within 20 minutes from our reception venue, and 35 minutes from the airport.
