FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm and doors will be locked at 5:25pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony to find a seat. Also keep in mind that parking may not be available directly in front of the building and you may need to find parking in a busy downtown area.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. So, we are requesting that all of our guests dress in formal/semi formal attire. No jeans and no t-shirts. Please also refrain from wearing white or shades of white - let the bride have her day! Please keep in mind: The ceremony will take place indoors, but the reception will be on the rooftop outdoors.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family as there is a limit to the amount of guests we can accommodate. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please respect our wishes as we have a limited budget and a guest limit provided to us by the venue. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired a professional photographer to capture this moment for us and we promise to share photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To ensure a seamless check in experience and a smooth flow of events, we kindly request RSVPs by August 1st. This helps us finalize details like seating and catering. If you haven't RSVP'd by then, we may not be able to guarantee a seat. Of course, if your plans change after RSVPing, please let us know as soon as possible!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Please find parking in garages and designated street parking of Downtown Riverside. There may be a parking lot with limited spaces near the museum, but this will not be determined until the schedule for the lot is updated. We will post any updates here.

Question

What is there to do in the area should I arrive early?

Answer

We encourage arriving early, especially if you're new to downtown Riverside. It can get lively on Fridays! This gives you time to relax, find parking, and explore the area. Downtown offers a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. We also recommend checking out The Cheech (Chicano Art Museum) located between our venue and the historic Mission Inn. If you're a coffee lover, check out Molinos Coffee, right across from the Mission Inn. We've had many great conversations and cups of coffee there, and it holds a special place in our hearts.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

Our main food option will be tacos with choice of carne asada, al pastor, and chicken. Sides will be rice and beans. We will also have select snack items available.

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day. However, should you want to give a gift, we do have a registry. Day of we will have a card box for cards and our zelle/venmo posted. Please see our registry for additional options.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes, it wouldn't be a party without it! If you'd like to contribute towards the bar, your generosity is always appreciated! We have a bar fund on our registry, but we will also accept beer (bottles and cans) and vodka or tequila for our signature drinks. Please note that due to venue regulations, all contributions of beverages must be received by October 5th, as our bartender needs to handle all alcohol beforehand.

Question

Am I allowed to bring my own alcohol into the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, no outside alcohol is permitted at the venue due to regulations. But the good news is we'll have a bar following the ceremony for everyone to enjoy refreshments! Security will be on-site to ensure everyone's safety, and please remember that we cannot serve alcohol to anyone underage.

Question

What time is the party over?

Answer

The party don't stop til the sun comes up! -Noah Our reception will conclude for the evening at 10:30 pm. However, feel free to linger and enjoy catching up with loved ones until 11:00 pm, when we must vacate the venue. However, the night doesn't end there! We'll be continuing the celebration at nearby bars in downtown Riverside (21+). We'd love to celebrate further with anyone who can make it!
