Our story started years ago...thanks to Sam or Sami, (depending on if you know her through Alyssa or Josh). We have been around each other for years without us really knowing it because of our closeness to Sam/Sami...We were at many of her celebrations including being a part of her bridal party when she got married, Alyssa a bridesmaid and Josh a bridesman. Fast forward, it's COVID and Alyssa is living with Sam and Serg. Josh was one of the few people that made the cut to hang out in the small bubble. Despite not being a football fan, Josh would come over for football Sundays and when Alyssa wasn't watching the Chargers, and Josh wasn't working we finally got to hang out and spend time together. Football Sundays led to a Palm Springs trip with the football crew. Neither really knew that the other had developed a crush on the other. After a day of swimming and BBQing, and some liquid courage from Josh-made JELLO shots, Alyssa told Josh about her school girl crush and with his famous goofy-Josh smile, he said he felt the same! 2 1/2 years after our Palm Springs trip, Josh asked Alyssa to marry him. Naturally, it was on a hike with Fennec right in the middle of it. And now, here we are, counting down the days until we get to celebrate our love with all of our family and friends ...and yes, of course, Fennec will be there too :)
