Some say Irish are born with luck in their veins, and for Chase Murphy, this tale seemed to be true the night he walked into an Irish pub. Their story began like any good Irish tale – with food, friends, and good beer! Chase had known Alyssa through mutual connections, but one evening in late fall changed everything. Alyssa and her friend Teagan (bridesmaid) were planning to grab wings and Lot 3’s at Irish Penny, a local bar in town. When Chase called to ask Alyssa what she was up to, fate – or maybe a bit of luck – nudged him to join them. Chase and Alyssa found themselves deep in conversation, talking about life, family, and dreams. They even ventured to another local spot, Hoppers, where they toasted to the World Series. The highlight for Chase? Alyssa turning up the radio and belting out “International Harvester." After dropping her off, Chase stayed behind and chatted with her Dad until 4am while Alyssa slept upstairs. This was the real love story (Chase and Jimmy - just kidding 😂)

Chase surprised Alyssa and arranged for both families to gather at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse after the proposal. The day ended with a toast at the Ocean City St. Patrick’s Day Parade surrounded by friends and family.
