Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge

You can drive through the refuge in the evening to see some Michigan Wildlife, or hike in the day to get back to nature. I love this trail.
Whiting Forest of Dow Gardens

A really awesome place! Hike around the 54 acres of woodland, or climb the longest canopy walk in the United States! Stop by Dow Gardens while you're at it! It's beautiful. Also stop by the Tridge while you're in Midland!
