Sophomore Year at Freehold High School, Mrs. Sanders Honors English class. They both knew of each other but never really spoke. Then, one day after completing an assigned group project, Alyson told one of her friends that Matt was "So cute and tall." The word spread around to Matt's friend who told him, "I know someone who thinks you're cute. Buy me a cookie and I will tell you." Matt bought the cookie, heard Alyson's name and texted her that day. The rest is history.

It was a beautiful Fall Saturday, and they had plans to head to a winery with friends [This is very typical- not out of the ordinary at all!] The assignment was "Let's dress cute and head to this new winery- we need good pictures." After finishing their wine flights, they headed to an arch way in front of the vineyards to take some pictures. Matt was the photographer. After posing a couple different ways, Alyson's friends grabbed the phone to assess how the pictures came out. After looking at a few, she turned around to find Matt on one knee with the most perfect ring. The rest of the day was filled with the couple's favorite things: family, best friends, dancing, good food and of course, more wine :)
