These are unprecedented times, and we are all adjusting daily to new constraints and norms. Your health and safety are the highest priority for us, and we understand if you decide you're unable to attend. You can update your RSVP on our website as needed. Our wedding will be outdoors, and there will be plenty of space to maintain social distancing. We will have hand sanitizer, and you are welcome to wear a mask if you are comfortable doing so. Of course, if you have been exhibiting any symptoms or have been exposed to COVID we ask that you stay home and take care of yourself, and we will celebrate together in the future. As conditions in Michigan change, we will abide by local and state regulations in an effort to keep our friends and family as safe as possible. Thank you for your understanding and assistance in this matter.
If you're up for it, camp out here! Our property has 12 acres of tree and open areas, with outdoor electricity and water available. Anyone is welcome from Friday the 2nd until Monday the 5th. If camping isn't your style, visit the Travel tab for some other suggestions, and keep in mind that when searching for local hotels, some options may pop up across the bridge in Canada, so be careful where you book!
Yes! We want to make sure we are able to celebrate with our closest family & friends, and that includes children! We will have some kid-friendly food options, lawn games & activities, and, in general, things will be pretty low-key and casual so kids will feel right at home. Let us know if you have any specific questions about this.
The wedding ceremony & reception will be both be held outside in July, in Michigan, which means it could be hot and sunny, cold and rainy, or anything in between. We will mitigate for the sun and wind with tents, but please remember that if rain is in the forecast, the ground may be wet/muddy. We recommend against high heels, but please wear whatever you will be comfortable dancing the night away in. In terms of dress code, while we plan to be dressed to the nines, please wear whatever level of dress you feel most comfortable in.
