FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

June 1st, 2022

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are only doing a cash registry (100% optional) which can be found on the registry page on our Zola website. If you wish to contribute monetarily another way (venmo, cash app, zelle, etc.) please reach out and we can provide our information to you! Lungi and I are traveling around the east coast of the US for the rest of this year so we wanted a "travel light" mindset for our registry!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Seating will begin at 5:00 pm. Ceremony begins promptly at 5:30!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No dress code - Our colors (if you want to be coordinated with our theme) are sage, olive, rust, terracotta, sunset, mustard, and gold - think Fall colors and greenery and you can't go wrong! We would recommend bringing a layer just in case it gets chilly in the evening!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Hotels/BnBs/Inns/etc. can all be found on the travel page of our website!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is! Free parking and plenty of it.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is not organized transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony. Because of the windy roads around the venue and for peace of mind for our guests, we recommend ubering or lyfting if possible!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We reserved our wedding venue for two days so we could spend as much time with our guests as possible and didn't have to rush our events. If you want to visit us at the manor the day of the wedding, just send us a text. We would love to spend time with you!

Question

Flights are pricy - how can I reduce costs?

Answer

Totally understand! On the travel page, we put multiple airports you could fly into. Especially for those flying internationally, we recommend checking out DC, Baltimore, or Philly's airports as they will certainly be less expensive. From there, you can rent a car and drive to the venue/your hotel (within a two hour beautiful drive from all the airports). Also, check out Scott's Cheap Flights - we have used it for years and found some incredible deals on flights!
