Maid of Honor
Meghan is my "Big" from our UGA Pi Phi days and has truly felt like my big sister since we first met in 2012. I don't really know how to describe her except for how incredibly lucky I am to know such a genuine and fun person. She's been there through everything the past 10 years and I can't wait for the next 50+.
Bridesmaid
Christina and I first met at Barron Collier High School. We have been through everything together over the past 12+ years - from our awkward teenage phase to her welcoming her two beautiful children into the world.
Bridesmaid
Sierra and I first met as freshman at UGA when we joined Pi Phi in 2012, and our friendship was sealed when we both decided to make our ABC outfits out of Pokemon cards for a fraternity social. I am so incredibly lucky that she decided to also move to NYC when we graduated!
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth is my "little" from our days in Pi Phi at UGA. From the first time we hung out, it was obvious that we were going to be friends for the rest of our lives. I tried to play it cool when before Big/Little Reveal, so she would be moderately surprised that I was her "big". However, that was thrown out the window when I remember Elizabeth pulling me aside when we were out downtown and said "So you're going to be my big right?" I haven't been able to get rid of her since ; )
Bridesmaid
Leilanie and I met through Jamal shortly after I moved to New York. We've been friends ever since we discovered each other's love of dollar oysters, anything Marvel or Hallmark, and having one more glass of wine than probably needed.
Bridesmaid
Kelsey and I met in 2012 when we both joined Pi Phi at UGA. It's hard to remember any shenanigans from my time at UGA without having Kelsey by my side. From studying abroad in Austria to frolicking around downtown on a random night, many of the most memorable (and 'not remembered') moments over the past 10 years have been with her.
Flower Girl
Addie is Christina's daughter and my 'niece'. I remember holding her in the hospital when she was born and my first thought was how incredibly loved she was already.
Ring Bearer
Levi is Christina's son and my 'nephew'. It's been an absolute privilege to see him grow over the years, and it seems like just yesterday that this little firecracker came into the world.
Officiant
We met Jamal in 2016 when I (Aly) started working at C.N.A out of college. While Jamal couldn't remember my name for the first 6 months of us working together (evident by him calling me Alyson from my name badge instead of Aly which I kept introducing myself to him as), he quickly became my big brother. It has been such a blessing to have someone who feels like family in NYC since I am so far away from my own.
Usher
Jonathan and Aly first met at C.N.A when he was assigned as her mentor, and their friendship grew from there. He's been a great support system the past 6 years and never fails to put a smile on our faces. Don't let his sarcasm fool you, he really is just a big teddy bear who pretends to be grumpy.
Usher
If you're ever looking for a witty, kind-hearted friend, Tyler is all of that and more. Aly and Tyler first met at C.N.A when they both joined in Summer 2016, where we went from coworkers to him being one of my best friends. I truly don't know how to describe Tyler other than the fact that we are so incredibly lucky to have him in our lives.
Best Man
James' younger brother
Groomsman
James' younger brother who is currently attending University of Buffalo
Groomsman
Jason was James' first ever roommate when they both lived in New York City, and they have become best friends over the past 6 years. Jason has known Aly and James ever since the first month the two of them met. Jason is currently studying his MBA at University of Michigan.
Groomsman
Tom and James met on their Middle School Baseball team and have been best friends for 15 years.
Groomsman
Tyler and James met at Hofstra University where they both played on the Club Baseball team.
Groomsman
Michael and Aly first met at a middle school golf tournament when they were in 7th grade. Aly immediately turned to her friend and said "I hope I don't play against him- he makes me nervous!" Low and behold, we got matched together, but Aly's nerves went away once she realized Michael had lied about his golf handicap to get onto the team. Ever since that fateful day, Aly and Michael have been best friends and have seen each other through so many walks of life.
