Like many pandemic-era love stories, ours began with two people just about ready to give up on dating apps—until one last swipe changed everything. During the height of COVID, we matched and met for our first date at Ruggero's Italian Restaurant in Riverhead, NY. A night full of laughter, great food, and Dylan sneakily packing extra parmesan cheese into Alyson’s leftovers marked the beginning of something special. From that day on, we became each other’s biggest supporters. Dylan, a dedicated football coach, found his biggest cheerleader in Alyson—on and off the field. Whether it was game day or everyday life, we always had each other's backs through life's greatest hurdles. Nearly four years later, we returned to one of our favorite places—Bethany Beach, DE, a beloved summer getaway for us both. There, with the ocean breeze and a surprise appearance from both of our families, Dylan got down on one knee and asked Alyson to spend forever together. Fast forward five amazing years, countless memories, one apartment, and one very spoiled puppy later—we’re so excited to say “I do” on May 21st, 2026, surrounded by our closest friends and family.
