Do I have to make my reservations through the travel agent?

Answer

Basically, yes. Karen is our liaison with the resort for planning purposes and needs to know the final guest count. She also ensures the best pricing for our guests and can assist with travel issues, need be. Additionally, there are several different Fives properties in the area, so it is important that you are booked at the correct location.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we would love for everyone to be able to bring their children, destination weddings have smaller guests lists for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, that means we had to cut our guest list down to include only our closest family and friends and had to make the difficult decision to make this an adults only wedding, with the exception of immediate family.

Should guests purchase travel insurance?

Answer

The bride and groom are cautiously optimistic that we’ll be living in a semi-normal world closer to the date of the wedding; however, given the uncertainty, guests are advised to purchase travel insurance. Karen will review insurance options with you at the time of booking.

What airport should guests travel to/from?

Answer

Cancun International Airport (CUN), the nearest airport, is about a 40 minute drive from the resort. Karen will arrange reliable transportation to/from the airport for guests.
