We currently live in "The Highlands" which is a neighborhood located on the outskirts of inner Denver. If you would like to stay in Denver, we suggest staying within our area. However, our wedding will be held in Larkspur, which is roughly 45/50 minutes outside of Denver. For this reason, staying within the "Denver Tech Center" which is ~ 20 minutes outside of the city or somewhere on the south end of Denver may be more fitting and convenient. DTC or (Denver Tech Center) is where the shuttles will be picking up and dropping off guests to attend the wedding. Specifically, “The Laszlo Hotel” where rooms will be blocked for those who would like to stay. Denver has so many great areas with lots to offer, so you can't go wrong!
Fortunately our amazing venue does have a "kids zone" that includes a Wii, games etc to entertain children if needed. Due to the time of year and our venue being in the valley, driving is not encouraged and therefore we would recommend our guests to consider a kid free evening- we want everyone to have a blast and enjoy the night!
Although, Denver has a very efficient train system, it is a large city! If you would like to explore or drive to other areas outside of Denver such as Boulder, Red Rocks, Colorado Springs we would suggest renting a vehicle! In addition, our venue is in Larkspur, CO which is 50 minutes outside of Denver. We will be providing shuttles, to and from “The Laszlo Hotel” located in Parker, CO.
Yes! The bride and groom will be staying at “The Laszlo Hotel” in Parker, Colorado and we have 15 rooms blocked for guests with the option to increase room numbers if needed. (State that you are involved with the “McElvain Wedding” and they will provide you with a discounted rate!) *We will have shuttles traveling to the venue from this location and returning here following the reception. *POST RECEPTION, we have reserved a large bar room on the 5th floor where people can gather and celebrate the evening when returning to the hotel.
