Flight
If you are traveling straight towards the wedding venue, we recommend flying into the Florence Airport. From there you can either take a train, bus, rent a car or a private charter from there. It takes on average 2 hours to get Sansepolcro. We highly recommend arriving on Thrusday to give yourself time to rest before the festivities!
Train
Train is the most affordable option, and a beautiful one! A train will take you from Florence to Arezzo for under 15 euros! There unfortunately is no train from Arezzo to Sansepolcro. We highly recommend renting a car near the Arezzo train station. This will be the quickest way - taking only 35-40 minutes to arrive in Sansepolcro.
Rental Car
Renting a car offers the most flexibility and allows you to enjoy the weekend at your own pace. It is also the fastest way to travel from Arezzo to Sansepolcro. Please note that the address listed above is from Arezzo, not Florence. We recommend taking a train from Florence to Arezzo, as this is the quickest and most cost-effective option. Avis, Budget, and Noleggio are among the most affordable rental car options. If navigating individual rental websites feels confusing or overwhelming, Expedia can be a helpful starting point for comparing options—just keep in mind that booking through a third party may be slightly more expensive. We highly recommend reserving your rental car as early as possible to secure the best rates. Sharing a rental with your travel group is also a great way to reduce costs. Driving from Arezzo to Sansepolcro typically takes 35–40 minutes, making this the quickest transportation option.

This will depend on guest arrival times, so we won’t be able to confirm this option until we have a clearer picture of when most guests are arriving. We’ll be sure to share any updates via text and email as soon as details are finalized. In the meantime, we recommend coordinating transportation plans with your travel group. Lastly, BRING CASH. It is not guaranteed foreign services, especially transportation take credit.
Hotel
A 3-star, family-run hotel located in a quiet location just a 15-minute walk from the historic centre of Sansepolcro, the birthplace of Piero della Francesca, Relais Oroscopo is set in a 19th-century house. It offers a furnished garden, free public parking, and Wi-Fi in common areas and rooms. Served at your table, breakfast includes homemade cakes and jams, local cheeses, and cured meats. The rooms are located on the first and second floors, all with private bathrooms and air conditioning. The property does not have an elevator.

Travel Note
Guests are welcome to stay wherever they feel most comfortable—there is no requirement to book at a specific hotel or location.
