We're Getting Married!

It all started on November 14, 2021, at a church event in Abbeville, South Carolina. Victor’s pastor was speaking at Alysha’s church that day, but neither of them could have known that this would be the day their paths would cross. Victor, quietly observing, couldn’t help but notice Alysha. He thought she was cute but didn’t say much—he was content just watching from a distance, unsure of whether to say anything. He didn't know if a connection was there, and the timing wasn’t quite right. Over the next six months, their paths crossed again, two times in North Carolina. Alysha traveled with a friend to visit family, and coincidentally, Victor happened to be there, too. That’s when they became more acquainted—through chance meetings and mutual friends. It wasn’t until May 2022 that things really started to change. Victor, in his usual playful way, made a joke about Alysha missing out on a particular event her friend was present for. In that moment, it clicked — Victor was interested in Alysha! Days later, Victor was given Alysha’s number, and with a mix of excitement and curiosity, he decided to take the leap and ask her out. And that’s how it all began. From that first date, Victor was genuinely curious, trying to figure Alysha out. Although she was attracted to Victor, Alysha was playing a little hard to get, but he was determined to see through her mystery. Over time, Alysha started to let her guard down, and Victor won her over. What began as an "innocent" joke evolved into something deeper— a beautiful friendship and an unbreakable bond. Now, as they look forward to the future, they're thrilled to continue writing their love story together, surrounded by the people they love most.
