Surprisingly, we met on the Facebook dating app in December 2022! We began chatting and quickly begin having some deep conversations. We developed a connection through messaging on the app for a couple weeks before meeting in person. We found out that we lived about 4 min away from each other. We met up at a local Starbucks after work and talked nonstop until they closed. Derick made it known quickly that he had found what he was looking for and his dating profile had been deleted lol. We found that we have so many similarities that we began calling each other twin. We started dating and although we felt things were moving quickly, it felt right! Through prayer and seeking the Lord we knew we were meant to be together forever! We got engaged on August 26, 2023 and had a small, intimate wedding on October 28, 2023. It was absolutely perfect and we give God all the glory! He is a restorer and has shown up so beautifully in our lives! Now we look forward to celebrating our love & our union with our family and friends!
