It was December 29th, 2023 and our last day in Rochester before we headed back to Las Vegas. We went to dinner at Char Steakhouse. After that we went to an Amerks hockey game. While at dinner and waiting for our food (which was running behind) the server came up to our table to ensure that our food would be out next and if we were celebrating anything. I looked at Tommy and he looked a little nervous but said nope we are going to the hockey game tonight. After leaving and heading to the game - we got to our seats. I told him I was going to the restroom and he told to me to wait. Which was weird to me but then I thought he wanted me to watch the game and maybe something important was going to happen. After the period ended we went to the restroom and while walking back I suggested on getting something to drink, he told me to wait (I was so thrown off we were RIGHT next to the concessions and we have to wait?!). We got back to our seats and then he said he would be right back with drinks. He came back with NOTHING and took my hand and said lets go. As we walked up the stairs he turned me around and got down on one knee, he said "Alyse will you marry me?" I said "HERE" and he said again "ALYSE will you marry me??" I said "but hereeee". He turned me around to find out my parents and closest friends were all in a suite. Which he set up and they were watching this all happen (he knew this was so important for them all to be near by when this moment happened). I turned back around, heart filled with joy tears in my eyes and I said YES!!
