Shelter Island is a seasonal location with some pretty fantastic locals.
Travel:
JFK, LGA, and ISP are the closest airports. We recommend renting a car.
You will need CASH to access the Shelter Island North Ferry. More info here: https://www.northferry.com/
Day-of Travel:
We recommend driving across the North Ferry for day-of events if you are staying off island. The church and venue are not exactly walking distance from the ferry terminal and the Shelter Island Taxi is limited (please save their number here)

Where to Stay:
Shelter Island is likely the most expensive, but could be ideal if staying with a lot of people and looking for an Airbnb.
Greenport is right across the ferry from Shelter Island with more affordable hotels, updated motels, bed and breakfasts, and Airbnbs.
